Pseudo-fish bot [1.12.1]

Considering that you can't play sound while the 1.12.1 client is in the background I was wondering if anyone had a workaround. I don't want to automate fishing. I still want to have to manually input to catch the fish. But I would like either something that enables sound to be played in the background so I can hear the splash, or some sort of program that beeps, flashes on the screen, anything to notify me that the fish has popped while I might be looking at another monitor doing something else in between casts.

I'll invest an hour tonight in researching this idea. Sounds pretty easy/doable.

You can make a tool that reads the object manager, and then finds your bobber.
Go find the animation flag, once the animation is triggerd play a sound file.

Tried that out. Doesn't work very well with fishing. Sounds seem to bug out.
