    Object Display ID

    Anyway to get an object's display ID? I tried few ways but they seem too out dated and not working anymore.

    Which object type? Gameobjects, creatures, and items can be looked up in the DBC files.

    Game objects. Yes indeed,they should be in the DBC but the question is how to get them?

    What version of WoW are you running? In the case of 3.3.5a and prior it's a simple case of using a DBC editor. Post-WOTLK you might need a DB2 editor.

    Ah, pretty much the latest version. I can't help with that - you will need a CASC reader and a DB2 reader probably.
