    WOTLK World DB editing

    So yesterday I decided to edit the bag slots quantity in a certain bag. I opened the World with phpmyadmin, and put a random number to the slots quantity field. Well, it was 64. And nothing worked. But the stack limit changes were ok.

    I have two noob question now - is it necessary to edit something else too, or the slots quantity is "hardcoded" to some certain limit?

    It is limited by the client. For version 3.3.5a it's 36.

    Further research on the matter gives the following formula:
    max_slots = (CONTAINER_END - CONTAINER_FIELD_SLOT_1) / 2
