Server Cores. At current Best and worse ( In your opinions, all welcomed, thanks )

Title says it all, being a vet of olden times when vanilla servers were awesome and level 90 was cool cause retail only allowed 60..

I'm back to start a new one, and I need to know information to lead me to or help me make a decision on what is good, and what just plain is icky.

Experience wise, I can do mysql databases, no issue there, I can write whole AI's from that lol, LUA I can script, so no issue there, I can config and otherwise compile it myself, so again no issue.

I just want to know the current server cores, and how they are pitted against one another, I'm going to host a vanilla 60, a TBC 70, a WoTLK 80, and just a Cata level 85, not pandaria, so none of those server cores, unless they run what I mentioned above.

I'd also like a database that is decent, I'm going to spend three months in dev, so a decent one just accelerates the process, thanks guys for your help and contributions ahead of time.

Oh one last thing, A web hosting server like Apache etc.. any of those that you may know of please refer me just so I can like the DB to the whole of it all and allow easy created accounts. Thanks guys!

I've never heard of LUA, what's that? Sounds similiar to Lua.

Okay enough with dat. I have no clue of 4.X cores as I haven't played cata or mop. But you should try TrinityCore's 4.3.4 branch (https://github.com/trinitycore/trinitycore/tree/4.3.4). I think it's the best available in the end though.
For TBC I would say the best core there is either OregonCore (https://github.com/Havoc/OregonCore/) or then optionally TrinityCore1. OregonCore is a fork of TrinityCore1 as TrinityCore1 was discontinued years ago. OregonCore though has made some commits which failed some things. I can't remember what. I haven't tried OregonCore for 1 and half year though so I have no idea have they fixed the bugs.
For WoTLK I would say the best core, with no doubts, is TrinityCore, former TrinityCore2 (https://github.com/trinitycore/trinitycore).
Oh, and for pretbc I would say the best core there is MangosZero (https://github.com/mangoszero/server).

You can find databases for all these easily. Latest TDB (TrinityCore Database) for TrinityCores, ODB (OregonCore Database) for OregonCore, and the MangosZero database for MangosZero.
I've helped you more than I thought I would help hehe.

EDIT: Forgot apache. If you are running on Linux, just get LAMP. For Windows, WampServer. Website itself you can either code by yourself or search from google.

Ah, I loved Apache so much better, Wamp server just always got my computers panties in a bunch, I do plan to run windows server 2008 when I get the opteron etc... And you've given way more than I could have asked, thank you very much

    Emulator
    1.12.x (Vanil)

    • 1.CMangos

    2.4.3 (TBC)

    • 1. CMangos

    3.3.5 (WOTLK)

    • Either C/Mangos or TrinityCore
Oregoncore is dead, Trinity1 is dead, mangosone is dead and Arcemu has always been a pile of shitty code.
You could go Cmangos all the way, the may not be the fastest developers (TrinityCore is alot more active) but they are less mem leaks/hacky code.

    Host
Host the emulator/mysql on a linux and use a webserver for the website.

Cut the bullshit, seriously. Lua/LUA just stop pointing it out. And oregoncore and the other projects you listed are dead, more or less.
