Award gold for certain level achievements

Right now I have added lines in the achievement_reward section of my database to mail a player items to sell at certain levels. When you make a death knight you still recieve all the mail for lower levels (10, 20, and 40). I want this feature avaliable to all classes except death knights.

I understand a lot of you are thinking "Just make a script." Well that would be fine if I knew how. Here's what I know so far...

I know a bit about the database, I am able to make various NPC's (Vendors, trainers, etc.) I can make custom items without altering the dbc file and not have the red ? on the item.

I update and compile my own core from trinity's site. I am going to assume that the scripts are located in the (base clone dir)/src/server/scripts folder. I have checked out a few scripts with notepad++ but never changed or added any. I have a lot of experience with different code (dont know what it was called, it was in the Neverwinter Nights toolset) but nothing extremely advanced.

I am going to assume that this can only be done by scripting. If this can be done in the database I am missing it.

You'd have to go into the core solution and find the function that handles the mailing to players, and then add a if statement checking for whether the players class is a DK.

Although the theory of doing this is easy, and it's adding only two lines (if + }) I don't have a clue where it is handled for Trinity.
