[MaNGOS] How to add a LUA script ?

How do i add LUA script into my server

Ok so ! Me and a friend are actually running a Mangos server ( Winks dog repack ) and we want to compile our things to finally add some Lua scripts. But! the thing is that we don't even know how to add lua! I know its a noob question. But! everybody need to start somewhere right? Is there someone cool that just can told me how to ADD A LUA SCRIPT into our server! Plz!! Im of course giving +Rep !

Lua dosnt work with MaNGOS

MaNGOS got Scriptdev2.. and LUA scripts wont work with that

and since you using repack you cant add scripts to MaNGOS you need the source files to compile the scriptdev2 ( and c++ script of the thing you want )

if you are wanting to add an LUA script your looking along the lines of a arcemu or another ascent-based core. most of these have an LUA engine, whereas MaNGOS does not. To enable LUA on an ascent based server, in the config files, there is an option to load this, then just put the LUA scripts in the LUA folder.

if there are any bad scripts that do not load, this will be shown on the world console.
