[Info] What's the best setup for a 1.12.1 server?

I want to run a 1.12.1 server, what's the best setup? Mangos, ArcEmu, Ascent, or whatever. It's just going to be private with no more than 10 people, tops. I can run it in XP SP3 x86, or Win7 Ult x64 (preferred). I've read that Win7 sometimes has problems running a server, but nothing really concrete. Also, is there a specific version of the emu/db programs that I need to have for 1.12.1?

As far as i know only MaNGOS has been ported back to 1.12 recently, there are a few repacks that should include everything you need and the files to get the DBC and Maps from the 1.12 WoW Client, for DB programs you can still use Navicat, HeidiSQL etc etc, nothing else there would have changed.

Win7 is fine if you set it up right, but i would reccomend something like XP, x32 preferably to prevent some things not working.

I decided on this core, but I don't see any SQL files at ALL. Is there something else I should download?

It most likely included the MySQL . You should be able to connect to the database via:

localhost
root
root

The password can change dependingly, but that should be it.

Or, they just include the database files, not the SQL files. This will mean you need to pre install MySQL and place the files you extract into your MySQL/Data folder.
