How does the server work.

Okay, most guides are leaving crucial pieces of information out.

Is your server just 1 thing?

You have a database (Like just a repack that you download) which you import into MySql and then boom, you have a working server?

Or are their other programs that you need to create the database from a repack, and others to start and run the server?

+Rep to those who can explain and give examples of the programs that you need.

You know, I went to find you a guide which shows all the programs you need + the dependances + extra files + sql updates + database + compiling, or maybe a mixture of guides that covered it all, but in the end I gave up. All the current guides are crap, I found one that Wicked Shadow made that covered it, but it was litrally just text, no pictures, and doesn't include updates + database installing + dependances which would cause you to fail.
If nobody replies here I'll have another look tommorow.
