How many people could my server hold?

Hey

How many people could my server hold before it starts lagging?
I used to own one on my shitty pc , it held 5 people before it crashed xD

I now own a laptop with Windows Vista home edition

My system :

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU T5900 @ 2.20GHz 2.19GHz

Memory (RAM) : 4,00 GB

System Type : 32-bit Operating System

I never seen that someone are hosting wow on laptop

Basically if you run a Repack, it will hold about 15 people I guess.
It depends on how far away they are in relation to you. If its local, it shouldn't be a problem up to about 10.

Hmm..But do any of you know a good place to rent a server?

Just take any place where they rent out dedicated servers. You would have to compile your own Core and stuff first, tho. Else I don't think it would work out that well..

Now i'm confused :< , Some people say i can get around 100 , some say i can get 5.
I would be really happy if i could get around 30 ^^

Believe [iRaw], you CAN have around 30-70 people with some lag, maybe around 250 ms.
