[Question] Realm to Realm char transfer.

Ok so i got my second realm up im kidna proud of that, how EVER! the custom chars from my funserver can go INTO the other realm, how do i change that?

Well if you want them to not be able to you need to change the configs on the world to reflect a different Database that only has those fun server chars.

no i do not want that to happen i want to ust a diff char database but how do i do that without interfearing with the accounts and let them use the same accounts

My guess is:

Create a new DB in navicat( or w/e you use). Execute the structure for the character DB (can be found in the core's SVN).

Now, go to your second realm world.conf and edit the character database name to the new one.

i dont believe you can use the same Database for BOTH realms and have the characters only be able to log into ONE realm.. youll need two logon servers

i run 2 realms and you dont need 2 logon Dbs..

kree, you didnt get my question I DONT want them to play with the same charecters... its a funserver AND a blizzlike, i do not want the fun server chars going into the blizzlike

yea you can, Dump the main server Char db now you have 2 with the same chars..

i used that guide i followed it to the fullest, and yet i still have it to where it gives me the same chars.... in the realms both of them i dont want that.
