This will only work if your router has no firewall.

It'll work, since your in a local network, would be stupid if the router blocks incomming messages from his own network...

Well umm, I can't download it. At Filebeam it says:

    The connection was reset
Connection to the server was reset while the page was loaded.
    * The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a moment.
    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the network.

    And at RapidShare it says:

    Download not available
The following download is not available:
    http://rapidshare.com/files/21653402...ener.rar.html0 KB
The file of the above link no longer exists. This could be for several reasons:
    * The uploader deleted the file
    * The file contained illegal contents and was deleted from our Abuse team
    * The file is incorrect
    * The server is busy and can not process the request.
This file was not found on our server.

An absolutely fantastic contribution for those not tech-savy or just simply nubby. Brilliant!

This .bat thing will just add exceptions to the Windows Firewall, that's all.
Furthermore, Windows Firewall will automatically ask the user to add exceptions if a program tries to connect over a specific port anyway.

You still have to configure your router to 'really' open the ports so other people can get on it from the outside, if it isn't a complete failrouter.
Zomfg. And no, don't ask. - Dombo did it.
