    Sorted.
Wrong. Not everyone can do this. Comcast for example isn't Dynamic.

    The end.

Found a new client that passes but is more easier. You just start it and click your broswer/game and it will proxy it (opens a new window of this program)

Not to be rude, I appericate you trying to help, but this only works with people who have dynamic IP addresses, so if you have a static it won't change.

    Added alternative!

Got a bit of a problem..

Well hello, I am Rexhunter and I am a banned person. (Please don't judge me by the name :happysad

I got myself into a bit of trouble, resulting to me getting a IP ban.
I just want to start a new life (as you'd call it) on the server, slowly start over again.
My friends keep asking me to come back and such, can't really wait to get back on there.
I've tried to bypass this IP ban for a bit now, started knowing nothing about the stuff, but I've read a bit about it now.

Anyways, neither one of those things seem to work for me, if I try the first option with proxifier and try to log in it'll just get stuck at the state of "Connecting".
And when I try the second option with logging in it just goes to the state of "Authenticating" and quite quickly moves to "Disconnected from server".
Has someone here encountered that problem before and might of had found a solution or anything that could help? Help would be much appreciated.

I am using WoW v2.4.3, that should be supported by the server itself.

Edit: Tomorrow I'll see if I can try to shut down the router for 30-60 seconds, I am a bit sceptic about this but I'll try to see if it is any good. (Trying again, more then 30 minutes this time)
Edit2: Having Vista as a operating system instead of something else doesn't has anything to do with this, does it?

    +Rep for useful information.

    It failed.

I tried to shut down the router and kept it shut for more then a minute, but it didn't seem to change anything.
I don't think that I have a dynamic IP then, bollocks..

But, isn't there something I could be doing wrong? Can someone please help me?

Edit: I feel like such a idiot.. I didn't take much more then a minute while you said that it is supposed to take atleast 30 minutes.. I'll try this again today..
Edit2: It still doesn't work, I just don't have a dynamic IP.. Anything that could help still is very welcome though.

    Did it.

It finally works for me, it seemed to be a little problem with the Vidalia programs.
Many thanks for the help, it sure means a lot to me.

There's just a bit of a problem left in-game now though.. The latency gets really high, above 11k when it's bad. (This happens quite a lot.)
I'm honestly happy when I see it around 4,5k at the moment.

I am not sure if there is a solution to this, perhaps it's because the proxies are randomly found in places far away, thus not having a possible solution.
Stopping the proxifying after logging in just disconnects me from the WoW server, so that won't be a option, I am guessing.

But again, thank you for making this guide.

The proxies suck, you need to find a good quick one.

Or, I suggest the gpass. It seems to go 300KB+ on download speeds, which is good for proxied downloads.

Well, with the second option I ment the gpass, and the same problem is still happening. What could I do to help this?

As I said, you need to find a good proxy, chances are low though.

I'm afraid its not the best option, but this works. You will experience big lag most of the time.

    I don't know a fix yet.

Missed some things, let me say that windows vista can at times with its security measures, prevent this from working.

Most easiest way and 100% guaranteed is if you're the owner of the service (ex: comcast, qwest, etc), to call in and ask for a change and you're experiencing difficulties with your current IP. They may or may not depending on your persuaive abilities.

(Not to double post but got some PM's asking about this)

Some people work hard to level, and mess up once and its a perm ban. This way they can get back in freely.

If they want the decent stuff, they need to go to real to not be harmed.
This is the worst argument for having such a program. Once a player is banned they should stay banned. Why tf should I pay for a player to play on my realm if he does nothing but spam his own server? There is not one justifiable reasone why anyone who is banned should be able to get back on. all you do bu giving out this information is ruin the scene.
