Okay download whats in the pack and get SQLyog (free) or find chrispees version of Navicat cracked

1. Install and extract files its a .rar archive so use winrar
2. Run MySQL and typical
3. MySQL configering just Standard, leave the next part, set the password and your done
4. Now run Navicat/SQLyog and for the connection:
127.0.0.1
Username
Password
Hit test connection if it works you did it right
5. Make a new database right click new database and then right click the new database and hit run batch file(navicat) or restore file(SQLyog)
6. Let it run till it says queries complete then goto the file you put ascent
7. Open ascent.conf also read the conf and find the the 2 die messages and delete them and change the password "change_me_world" to what you want and edit the MySQL info to your own do that to logonserver.conf ad change the password "change_me_logon" to the ascent.conf's one too
8. Open realm.conf where you see at the bottom the realm change the name to what you want and the ip to your hamachi ip or dns name
9. Start up the server logonserver.exe first then ascent.exe and enjoy

How to setup public server hamachi

Download hamachi http://www.logmein.com
start it up make your nickname then in the corner click the triangle and hit create a network
Make the name and password and remeber it people use it to get on
In the ip you have at the to starts with 5. open ascent.conf and change the listen host to that ip do the same to logonserver.conf but for logonserver.conf dont change the second listen host
Now tell people to connect to your network and set thier realmlist.wtf to your ham ip.

I start longonserver and then ascent but then ascent close's all by its self after like 6sec after I opened it.

Does it load the world data base then pop something up and disapear?

Lets see when you load "Ascent.exe" it crashes running through loading the database (no shown errors, only crash dump), AND when loading "Logonserver.exe" the configuration is trying to connect to the database with the name "nate" now there is no config file in this folder with the variables set to nate.....please help

What I usually do is that if one guide doesnt work, i dont post complaints, i just go to find another guide, unfortunately some people dont want to start a completely new guide, but its best to do so.

uhhhhhhh, so if a person posts a guide, OBVIOUSLY intended to be USED and it doesn't straight from compression he shouldn't be told about somethings wrong? Okay buddy I'll keep that in mind.

why not just download the navicat lite 8.0 it is full version and totally free

Okay it has an awesome db with custom shop and some armor. The rev is 1994. I added some cool weapons they might not work cause they might be for old db version. And this donation gear the credits I gave to people are in the repack

okay I have no idea why thats happening bigdog mabe you need a new copy of ascent

The problem has been found

Use a differnt rev or db cause they dont support eachother even if you update it the db is shaped differntly then most sorry

it works with rev 1124
