Item creation + DBC edit!

i want to show you, how you create working items in TrinityCore!
I use Truice for creation and MyDbcEditor for the DBC editing.
lets start

Truice download:

Step 1
Open Truice and create a item.(i create a weapon)
Here is my weapon in Truice:

Add the item to your database. just "show item template script" and then execute it.
Dont close truice yet!!!
later we need the class, quality, displayID, InventorySlotID & subclass of our item. so i write down: class - 2 / subclass - 8 / quality - 4 / displayID - 54758 / inventorySlotID - 17. we need it for dbc.
when you write it down, you can close truice.

Step 2
well, our item is executed to our DB but when we add it ingame, we cant use it for spells. we need to add our item to item.dbc.
extract Item.dbc from your ServerDBCs or your locale.mpq. Open it with mydbceditor.

you see this.
so, click on "edit -> insert line"
now we have to enter a ID. Its IMPORTANT that we use our item ID. so i use "558847"
you'll see this:


now to the columns:
1 - Your Item ID
2 - Your Item Class ID
3 - Your Item Subclass ID
4 - i leave it always blank
5 - Your Item Quality ID
6 - Your Item DisplayID
7 - Your Item InventorySlotID
8 - Your Item SheathID
So my DBC looks like:


then you have to put the Item.dbc to your server DBC and in a .mpq file
you can create .mpq files with MyMPQEditor.
