NPC Creation > 3.3.5a < Database

Hello
i want to show you, how you can create a NPC with Navicat.
Sry for my bad english :/
First you have to start Navicat and log in with your server.
Then go to "world"
Open "creature_template"
Then you see a lot of columns. Don't panic.
Its very simple. At the end of this thread i will tell you what does the columns mean.
I want to create a NPC who's look like a penguin.
So create a new entry.

Entry - The ID of your NPC
Difficulty_entry_1 until 3 and KillCredit1 until 2 is not important.
modelid1 - the DisplayID of your NPC. I want to create a penguin, so i use 26452 (when you use modelid1-4, the npc spawns with a random displayID)
name - name
subname - the text under the name (example : Name - Arthas, Subname - Lichking)
IconName - the icon of your cursor when you click on your npc
gossip_menu_id - is not important for a standart npc
minlevel - minimum level
maxlevel - maximum level
exp - the experience that you get, when you kill the npc
faction_A - the faction of your npc when you're alliance. whether it is friendly or neutral etc.
faction_H - the same for horde
npcflag - when you want that your npc is a inkeeper or vendor. look at the end of this thread for more information
speed_walk / run - run and walk speed of your npc (1,14 is standart)
scale - the scale of your npc (1 is normal)
rank - whether it is a elite or boss (look at the end if this thread)

BUT the baseattacktime have to write in milliseconds!
when your creation is finished you have to click on the hook to accept the entry.
then you have to restart the worldserver and you can spawn your NPC with the entryID from your npc
so now to the flags & rank
the flags are:
0 Nothing
1 Gossip
2 Quest
3 Gossip + Quest
4 Vendor
5 Gossip + Vendor
6 Quest + Vendor
7 Gossip + Quest + Vendor
8 Taxi
9 Gossip + Taxi
10 Quest + Taxi
11 Gossip + Quest + Taxi
12 Vendor + Taxi
13 Gossip + Vendor + Taxi
14 Quest + Vendor + Taxi

thats it. now you have your own standart NPC. but you can do more with npcs but i'll write more tutorials soon.
