How to make TrinityCore and MaNGOS public with Hamachi!

This guide will be very short! There is about 3 steps.

Step 1. The Bind IPs!

Navigate to both of your .conf files, then open them. Find "BindIP" and change the 0.0.0.0 to your hamachi IP (EX: My hamachi IP is 5.129.84.180, so i'd set it up like this:
Bind IP: 5.129.84.180) Do the same with BOTH of the configs!

Step 2, into the database! Open your Database editor (EX: Heidisql, even though I preffer Navicat for small changes). Make sure MySQL is running, then open the Auth table (or Realmd on MaNGOS) Now open Realmlist. Open it so you see the following: Realm name: realm IP: Realm port and a bunch of other stuff. Change the Realm IP to your hamachi IP and then save it.


Step 3. Set realmlist! Make sure that you put "Set realmlist *hamachi ip" without the quotes. Then, viola! Your hamachi server is available to anyone in your hamachi network! Easy as that!

I have a problem, when my friend tries to connect during the login process it stops at Connecting. Could you please explain what the problem is here? Yes I changed IP in the DB.. And yes I set BindIP. I know what I'm doing, it's just that it's not working <.<.

I got the error 2013 - Lost connection to MySQL server at 'waiting for initial communication packet', system error: 0. Any solutions?
