Alright, I've done a lot of trial and error and I constantly see "Other people can connect, but I can't" I've found out what the issue is. If your WoW client is on the same computer that your server is running on, YOU will not be able to log onto WoW through your dydns, you will get stuck trying to log into your realm; if it's set as your localhost then other people will have the same issue. I'm going to show you how to set up your realmlist and ports if you're running wow on your server computer. First off, if you don't have a dns you'll need to get one,
DynDNS, set up your realmlist here.
Next, Make sure your hosts file is configured correctly. C:/Windows/System32/Drivers/etc. Open hosts through notepad.
Code:
# Copyright (c) 1993-2006 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
127.0.0.1 YOURCHOSENDYNDNS
IPCONFIG YOURCHOSENDYNDNS
WHATISMYIP.COM YOURCHOSENDYNDNS
Go to cmd and type in ipconfig /all
Change the red box in hosts to that number.
Now then, your realmlist.config
