    [Easy]Creating your own custom portals

    Open HeidiSQL & connect to your database.
    Go to the Database "World"
    Search for the table "Teleport_Coords" and open it.

    Just above the tables, it says "Host, Database, Table, Data and Query." Click on "Data."

    Now you'll see different of portals.

    This is what you do;

    Log onto your server, once you're on your server, type .gps. You'll get the co-ordinates of where you are, it'll say something like
    Code:
    Current Position: Map: 0 Area: 12 Zone: 0 X: -8256.250000 Y: -198.192993 Z: 268.531006 Orientation: 3.589270
    Next you're going to have to edit a portal that you're not using, not Shattrath, or one of the main ones.

    Then fill in the numbers in HeidiSql, or whatever database program you're using.

    Next you have to copy the Entry ID.
    The EntryID is "(id)", copy that and go to Gameobject_Names
    Create a new line and do this:

    Code:
    EntryID = The spawn ID (Whatever you want)
    Type = 22
    Display ID = 4395 (What it looks like)
    Name = Whatever you want it to be named.
    Skip Name1 - unKStr
    Spellfocus = The entry ID you copied at Teleport_Coords
    Next, all you have to do is restart your server, and your Portal should be working.

    To spawn it, you have to .go spawn the entry ID you used in Gameobject_Names.

    Thanks for reading & if you need any help just comment.

    I still think using a simple LUA script is less work then this, This is pretty well known. however, I'll give you a cookie..

    Thankies.

    I'm just getting back to WoW, and even more recently getting back to emulation.
