[Guide Mac ] Setup a 3.2.2 Mac server (Arcemu)

    MUST HAVE SNOW LEOPARD!
( I do not answer any questions that require me to access my own files as i do not use OS X anymore)

    Downloads! Please download these first.

    Download ArceMux for Mac
Navicat Lite (Not needed for setup but required to manage database)

After downloading the required files and installing them you can move on to step 1.

    - Step 1 -

    Launch ArceMux

It will show up like this at first, make sure to change the realmlist to us instead of eu if you do not play on european servers.

Now go over to the WoW tab and select the location of your WoW app, and your realmlist.wtf (Don't forget to Save)

    - Step 2 -

Now click Start Download at the top left corner, you will see a list of un downloaded files.

For the drop down menus leave them all alone besides the server version, we are going to change it to 3.2.2
Once you have changed that click on one of the bars and click the start download button again.
It will start downloading those files, once that one is done continue onto the others until they are all complete.

    - Step 3 -

Once you are done with this, click start server which is next to the start download button.

click options and hit set next to the realmlist configs or manually change it yourself to 127.0.0.1

If all went well and you didn't mess with the configs yet the servers should start properly, and you will be able to log in as admin with the password admin. Also if you go to localhost or 127.0.0.1 in your browser the account registration site should be up.

This is what it should look like. If it does not look like the picture below after the servers start then something is wrong, make sure you have followed all the steps, if you believe you have and it still fails to work let me know.

    - Step 4 -

Now if you decided to get navicat and wish to modify your database instead of just setting up a server for yourself, open Navicat lite make a new connection (MySQL) with this info.

    Code:
    Host Name / IP: localhost
    Port: 3306
    Username: root
    Password: arcemux09
with that info you should be able to connect to your database with no problems.

    - Modify Configs -

If you wish to access your configs or any other of the server files they were installed under your Macintosh HD in the "arcemu" folder.

If you need any help feel free to post here or PM me.

Thanks for the rep and Nominations guys.

Might be adding a few pics to the guide and adding more on how to make it public, even though it's basically the same as a windows once you have it all running.

Go into your arcemu_logon database and verify that the character was made in the character table, if so try re logging. If that does not work restart the server.

    Different program, different setup.
Same result if done properly. Also if we are talking about the same one it did not work for me.

It is the same files, this one is just a update so all folders is in a new folder, also if you google it, you can find this standing "ArceMux (formerly known as MaNGOSx)"
And this one just got the launcher too.
    Why fill up a signature?

I know that it was previously called that and has been redone, but isn't arcemu more like ascent than mangos?
