Do this work?
Sorry for this stupid question, I just don't want to waste my time.
EDIT: I'll try it now.
I will show you all how to make a 3.0.3 Ascent server

I did this to get the 'Leecher' out of my name.

That video will help with some things that I dont clear up.
So. Its called 'Arcemu Blizzlike' (It doesnt have to be a blizzlike, just change the rates).
Download the repack here.
ArcEmu Blizzlike V12.exe
PUT THE REPACK EXACTLY IN C:\ OR IT WONT WORK!!
Optional:
Download vmaps (large file):[ame="http://files.filefront.com/vmapsrar/;12498795;/fileinfo.html"]vmaps.rar - FileFront.com[/ame]
That is vmaps. (It saves you time, unless you want to do ad.exe).
Optional:
Download maps (maps after ad.exe is finished):MEGAUPLOAD - The leading online storage and file delivery service
Put maps and vmaps into your: C:\ArcEmu Blizzlike\Extras
Ok. now you must edit the configs.(C:\ArcEmu Blizzlike\ArcEmu\configs).
ArcEmu world should be like this.
Code:####################################################################### # ArcEmu Configuration File # Last Update: $Id: arcemu-world.conf rev.1875 ####################################################################### #/******************************************************************************** # * How to use this config file: * # * Config files are in a block->variable->setting format. * # * A < signifies the opening of a block, the block name is expected after that. * # * After the block name, a space and then the settings sperated by = / ' '. * # * * # * e.g. * # * <block setting="0" someval = "1"> * # * * # * Comments can be in C format, e.g. /* some stuff */, with a // at the start * # * of the line, or in shell format (#). * # ********************************************************************************/ #-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-#-# # Database Section # # Database.Host - The hostname that the database is located on # Database.Username - The username used for the mysql connection # Database.Password - The password used for the mysql connection # Database.Name - The database name # Database.Port - Port that MySQL listens on. Do this work?
Sorry for this stupid question, I just don't want to waste my time.
EDIT: I'll try it now.

Took me a minute to work out the bugs but i eventualy got it. very nice. wish i could give u rep but i cant do that till i rank up from a noob
hmm how do i start the server? :P
Nice guide, might come back to this later.
Kind of stupid question.
Q.how do i start the server
A.You run MySQL (if it doesnt work, then press CTRL + ALT + DEL and find a process called mysqld.exe then delete it.) Then run Logonserver, then World.
Q.how do i code server using HeidiSQL [recommended, download here: Download HeidiSQL (Click here).]
A.Ok you have HeidiSQL. Now open it up and then a interface that says Description. Click new at the top of the interface, then rename it to what ever you like. Hostname/IP:127.0.0.1
Password:ascent
port 3306
Timeout 30
THEN CLICK CONNECT!

You sure this is Ascent and not just ArcEmu?
