How to fix entering Utgarde Keep

Quite a few people have mentioned a problem with entering Utgarde Keep. When entering, after the loading screen you get booted out of the instance and return to the entrance or DK starting area. I believe this problem is mainly for NCDB databases. For some of you or most, this is prolly just common sense. But some may not know this. This guide can work for all instances, not just Utgarde Keep.

The problem is in the database table areatriggers.

If you take a look in the table for Utgarde Keep you will see these records:

Utgarde Keep - Furance of Hate
Utgarde Keep - Furance of Hate
Utgarde Keep - Furance of Hate
Utgarde Keep - Tyr's Terrace
Utgarde Keep- Enter
Utgarde Keep- Exit
Utgarde Keep- Exit
Utgarde Keep- Exit
Utgarde Keep- Reavers' Hall


All of these records except Enter and just one Exit should be deleted in the Areatriggers table through Navicat or whatever editor you are using. If you dont delete the extra records, you will get booted out of Utgarde Keep in several places like in the Furnace of Hate area.

Once the records are deleted from the areatriggers table. Restart server and go to Utgarde Keep. Go inside the instance and decide where you want your characters starting spot. At that spot use GM command .gps. Make a note of the xyz and rotation coordinates.

Now exit the instance and find a spot where you want your characters exit spot. At that spot use GM command .gps. Make a note of the xyz and rotation coordinates.

Now go to your editor such as Navicat and back to areatriggers table. Enter your new information from using the GM command .gps in the Utgarde Keep- Enter and Exit records.


Restart Server and Enjoy!
