    [Guide] Add permanent .NPC emotes

When you are using .npc emote 2 (for example) it will reset
after server restart. So to solve this simply go to your database

    Code:
    creature_spawns
Lookup your .Npc id (.npc select, and then .npc info).
and go to emote_state in your table and change
the field from 0 to a emote id.

It's easy right? And it's permanent now!

Hiya, I'm not saying I "discovered" this, but you should give credits to where you got this information.

Where is says Entry: *Long #*, copy that number. Then in your sql editor (navicat for example), go into creature_spawns, and find that number in your table under the "entry" column. Then after finding that npc scroll to the right until you find the "Emote_State" column. Change "0" to the emote ID you would like. And this information is for Ascent, im not familiar with the Mangos tables, but im sure its similar. Then save your changes and reload your "creature_spawns" table. Then that npc should be saved to do an emote automatically.
I know you got it from there because that is a quote answering your question directly above that.

And again, not saying the discovery is mine because thousands know how to do this, but putting the pieces together it looks like you got this information from me.

This is pretty much common sense for every1 that have been exploring the database tables and even if he took the info from you i dont see any reason why he should give any credit to you? You didnt give any credits in your post so why should OP?

ok, this is bullshit you know..
i have been looking to solve the emote reset for a loooong time, and never found thread that could help me. So i asked a friend of me how to make it permanent. And after i learned how to do it i thought 'why shouldn't i make a little tut bout it? So i can earn some rep..?'
That's all, and it has nothing to do with your fking thread.

but is this for mangos ascent or what? I Use Mangos I'll give the extra info when I figure it out
