This is for all the people out there that can't Search, or are just new to Private Servers and creating Custom crap This is for WEAPON CREATING
1) Go to WoW-V and click on the "Weapon Creator"
2) Name: Type in the wanted name for your Item
3) Quality: There are 7 different qualities, from Poor, Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary and Artifact. Chose which one you want your Item to be
4) Quote: The yellow text you want at the bottom of your Item. (E.x. - "This blade was forged by Antonidas, the greatest Magician that ever lived"
5) Display ID: This is probably the hardest part. To find a Display ID, you need to either
WoW way: Go onto World of Warcraft, .lookupitem NAME and find the Entry ID for the Item you want it to look like, then go to Vamp's Item Display ID Converter and type the Entry ID of the Item you want into the correct area. Something should pop-up saying something like:
"The display ID of Itemname, with an entry ID of ####, is ####.
This item has been looked up # time(s). Also, the model itself has been used # time(s)."
You want to take the 3rd number and place it into the "Display ID" box on the Weapon Creator.
Thottbot way: Go to Thottbot and search the Item name you would like. When you find it, click on it and the URL should look like "www.thottbot.com/i#####" take the numbers at the end (Do NOT take the i) and go to Vamp's Item Display ID Converter and type in the Entry ID of the Item you want into the correct area. Something should pop-up saying something like:
The display ID of Itemname, with an entry ID of ####, is ####.
This item has been looked up # time(s). Also, the model itself has been used # time(s).
You want to take the 3rd number and place it into the "Display ID" box on the Weapon Creator.
6) Entry ID: The ID you want to spawn the Item with (.additem #####)
7) Equip: Which Hand you want to Equipt the item in. One Hand, Main Hand, Off Hand, 2 hand, Bow, Crossbow or Gun/Wand
Type: What type the Item you are creating is. MUST coegspond with the Display ID (E.x. - If Display ID is of a 2H Sword, DO NOT make the Type a 1H Axe)
9) Repair: How much is costs for the Item to be repaired (Cloth being least $$$, Plate being most $$$)
10) Durability: How much Durability the Item has. When the durability runs out, you have to Repair it.
11) Binds: Does the Item bind to you on Pickup, Equip, Use or never
12) Sheath: When you sheath the Item, where does it sheath too? (One Handed: Hip, 2 handed & Staff: Back, Ranged: invisible (?), Wand: invisible (?)
13) Ammo Type: Only put something in this if it is a Bow, Gun, Crossbow or Wand.
14) Speed: How fast the Item is. Determines the Damage Per Second of the Item.
15) Block: The +Block the Item has. Use ONLY when making a Shield.
16) Armor: The +Armor the Item has. Not suggested for an Item.
17) Required Level: What Level a Player must be to Equip this ITem
1 Item Level: Not very important. Make it a couple more than the Required Level.
19) Max Number Allowed: How many of these Items can you carry? 0 being as many as you want, 1 being Unique (Only allowed 1)
20) Allowable Class: What Class may use this Item.
21) Stackable: Can this Item be stacked on eachother? Not suggested for Weapons.
22) Item Damage: How much Damage the Weapon can do. There are 7 different types of Damages: Physical, Holy, Fire, Nature, Frost, Shadow and Arcane.
23) Item Stats: How much Stats the Item has. (E.x. - +33 Strength, +47 Defense)
24) Item Resistances: How much Resistance the Item has.
25) Item Bonuses:
Easy: There are about 40 Bonuses to choose from, you may use any you want, but God-Like Items will be deleted and flamed.
Advanced: Search up the name of a Spell you want (E.x. - Inferno), it will open up a Thottbot Page with results of your Search. Click on the Spell you want the most, the URL should look something like www.thottbot.com/s#####. Take the last #'s (Not the s) and paste them into the 'Advanced' Space. You may use up to 5 Advanced Spells.
26) Item Sockets: What Sockets the Item has. Meta Gems are not suggested for Weapons.
27) Socket Bonus: The Bonus that is given when the Sockets are placed.
2 Buy Price: How much the Item is bought for from a Vendor
29) Sell Price: How much the Item is sold for to a Vendor
30) Click 'Submit'
31) Download the Batch and Connect to HeidiSQL
32) Click on SQL Query tab and press the blue arrow (F9 works aswell)
33) The Item has successfully been added to the Server! Congratulations, you just made your first (?) Weapon!
