You are right, sorry. It was defaulted to 3310 on this pack I was using, but I got it changed over.
I do have an issue though. Whenever I try to do anything, and have the program connected to the database, it will randomly crash. Crashing causes me to not be able to re-open it again until I do a windows reboot. If I am not connected to the database, I just get a message saying I need to connect but it doesn't crash it.
Any idea what's up?

Great tool. I would like to see a feature for pvp quests aswell. For example make custom quests that require you to do arenas, bgs, kill other players.

hi first thank you very much for this great tool!
but I have a few problems.
If i create an Item (weapon) and spawn it ingame I can't use skills because they need "weapon equiped".
Another problem is that i can'T give weapons the right sockets. I mean I click on add sockets add 3 red sockets. ingame i often see only 1 red sometimes 1 meta. i dobbel checkt everything but i have got this problem again and again.
one last thing.
i can't give attributes to gems. is this normal or is it not implemented?
thank you!

Update: I got it to run, and update.
However, I can't get it to connect to my DB. I'm using the Singleplayer TC build here (Single Player Project - TC R2):
I've changed the port to 3310, and this build uses MariaDB. I'm wondering if it's the log in info or if it's the World Database. I don't know where to find that, and I've gone completely through the thread looking for it. The error says connection test failed, *mycomputername* doesn't have permission to connect to the MariaDB server.
Thanks for any help.

Hi all, when I launch this it immediately crashes. I'm using Windows 7. The bummer is I specifically hunted down a trinitycore server build because I wanted to use this tool.
The error says:

Sorry for the delay guys. Let's get into this
tl;dr: Download the new version here, not through the updater:

Not sure what's going on but I've added errors when the database connection fails rather than just crashing. You can also reset your DB settings. That should at least help a bit.
Feel free to let me know what it says if you're still around so i can implement an actual fix.

You can do that to some extent. Set Quest info to PVP, Zone to whichever BG you'd like.
Though you'd probably have to code some of it in LUA or C++. Database doesn't support BG completion as an objective. Sorry.
Should be quite easy in lua though.

It's fixed now but you'll have to re-install manually though the link above.

World Database is the name of your world database. Usually trinity_world or just world. Look in your world config file.

Are you sure you've set the item class to weapon? If this issue occurs again please share the export so I can check what's wrong.
The gem thing is a bit screwy I know, but that's not something I can control. It's a trinity or WoW client issue. There's a limit to the amount of sockets you can have.
I haven't really gotten around to gems, sorry. It's on the to-do list along with food and whatnot. You'll have to do that partially manually for now.

I've just sort of fixed that. It'll give a better error now. You can also reset your DB.
If the issue still occurs after installing the new version, let me know which error you get.

Sorry, while it can be done, it's quite a bit of work to support a different emulator, let alone a different version of WoW.
This probably won't happen.

Is it possible to add a custom quest to a quest giver from the original WoW ?

Yes, you'd just have to set the questgiver to the id of the original WoW NPC.
If you mean Vanilla wow, i'm not sure to which extent it's supported, we only have limited support on cMangos.
And if you mean retail, no you can't do it.

This isn't working for Legion. Do you know of any Legion creators?

I would like to remind you that it is possible to add items, quest givers, creatures on any version of WoW with HeidiSQL. The only problem (in my opinion) is that you have to do everything yourself (you have to do everything that Trinity Creator does but help us greatly), but the trick is with HeidiSQL. And if you're looking for tutorials, there's the Bent Reality Youtube channel, which is very useful.(It's a tips for persons who wants to create/import things on WoW TBC, Cataclysm, MoP, WoD or Legion.)
