try to right click both exe - patcher and sandbox and go to properties and select run this program as administrator.
then drag exe to patcher again. when it patches the exe it shouldnt give you any error pop ups.
ps im running win7 pro 64bit. i tried to help you guys and replicate the issue but no matters what i try everything works for me! the only time i had a problem was when i uninstalled net framework - then sandbox wouldnt even start up.

Aha, weird to be honest. I tried to quickly reinstall .NET 4.6 in the morning, without success. Running as admin also didn't work for me. Still the same error after trying to run the Sandbox.exe o.o.
My PC is like a month old so i dont except any driver issues or such ;p.

Edit: Doubt it matters but i ran the patcher and all that jazz out of the same file location that the client is installed in.
Well, sorry just saw a lot of Win 10 users with the same error. I extracted it already to the client location and still run into the issue . Thinking about redownloading the entire client again tbh.
EDIT: Just curious whats your os language?

Getting stuck on retrieving character list after I think creating too many.
Any idea on how to clean the history from the sandbox?

Yep. Was on 8.1 x64, had same error, installed clean W10 x64, same error. Changed system language just now, and it fixed it.
