I seem unable to manually patch it in any of the ways i have attempted. I suppose i will just wait for the proper patch.

How do we apply these fix's where do we put them, and how to we Extract Cataclysm maps, I almost have my repack completely done those are the 2 last thing I need to do Add these fixes and Extract the Maps Any Help would Be awesome!

I hate to be a n00b, but what are we supposed to do with the "diff"?
I'm not new to the scene, but I usually just use fairly ready-made servers. This is completely foreign to me, and I would really appreciate any help you're willing to give.

He is using whichever DB version goes with WoW client build 11685.
Up to date servers (live) use build 11723.
Cataclysm uses build 11927.


If you can figure out which DB version goes with WoW client build 11685, you can update from there.



Also, if you get the server working, don't forget to set your account's expansion level to 3. Everybody should have expansion level 2 on all their accounts for WotLK.

Cataclysm Alpha has been released for about 4 days now, and he's already dedicated himself to making patches for it.
You do it in 4 days, and if you cant, then expect angry pandas chewing down your door.
