World of Warcraft Alpha 9 Client 5.3 [Build 3368]

World of Warcraft Alpha 9 Client 5.3 [Build 3368]

Someone has re-uploaded the entire alpha into a torrent, and you don't need an account from Demonoid to download it.

"This is the World of Warcraft leaked alpha, compressed in a single zip file. Comes with both client and server software needed to run it (bear in mind, the server JUST hosts the world -- no NPCs, no items, etc). Usage is really easy:

Go into the server folder, start up the server, hit "start server."
Go into the client folder, use client_start.bat, change realm to Abyss 0.

Enjoy exploring. If you want to get to Kalimdor, you will have to go into options in the server software. If you want to get to a specific spot, and it's too high up (such as Karazhan), the two specific commands to use are DLOC (World Loc) and WORLDPORT.

    dloc
    worldport 0 x y [z+300 or some such]

Bear in mind that the 0 is important to be used first, or you will not end up where you intended to. X and Y are the first two coordinates you get from DLOC, and Z is the third you get from DLOC plus an offset to move you up (by adding to it) or down (by subtracting from it). So if you want to move 20 yards up, z+20, and if you want to move 50 yards down z-50.

If you fall under the world, you can and will fall forever. The best course of action is to dloc up to a positive value, 1000 is pretty safe (and you will not die).

Of note: There is NO Molten Span or even the interior of Blackrock Mountain. That's not a client glitch, that's not a graphics error. It's just not there.

If you want to get somewhere fast, you can either open the console using tilde (~) and type speed (tenth here, so 10 is 100% speed, you can go as high as 59). Also in Azeroth only (Kalimdor it doesn't work) you can click on any zone with a flag in it, and click on the flag and it will take you to that "
