How do I change the Realm-Name? can't find it :/

Are there any programs where I can make items, npc:s and stuffs for this server?
I tested Wow-v but it didn't work and I have made an item in the db but it's to hard.

When attempting to extract the map files, I get errors on, what I`m assuming are all the map files.

"Can't create the output file ,./maps/*increasing map number*.map"

Any help with this would be appreciated.

EDIT: The error was fixed by me creating a maps folder in the wow directory.

I have been having a lot of fun with this server and last night something very unusual happened. I was around level 14 and finished a quest in the moon elf region(the first main city)in the temple and I was kicked. Logging back in I was informed I had been permantly banned. Very funny. I was able to unban myself but I got a few chills wondering how the hell this happened. Non internet version just my Lan server and no one else was on. Felt very Twilight zoneish

That's very interesting indeed.

Also, I'd suggest upgrading to MaNGOS Zero. It's been developed much further than this VERY old revision of MaNGOS, and is much more stable. While Platinum is still playable and can be considered a legacy release, newer is always better

As a matter of fact, the post right above yours by Endure has a link to Zero's forums. If you've never set up a server from scratch and have only used repacks, there should be a couple of guides there that can show you what to do. There's also plenty of guides here on MMOwned.
