Uber-wow Sweeping Strike > Overpower

Requires: WPE Pro, PermEdit (if you need the permission), Warrior on the server www.uber-wow.info, Glyph of Sweeping Strikes.

made this due to Rend > Overpower not casting as fast as some servers, plus Sweeping Strikes is off the global cooldown, but sadly i dont know where to upload it, so heres a guide, tried to make it as simple as possible.

1. Make Warrior, Spec for Imp Overpower + Unrelenting Assault in the arms tree for best result

2. Run WPE Pro (as admin if your using Vista)

3. Run PermEdit and target WPE Pro, then click the "Grant Permissions" button (if you dont need permissions skip to 4).

4. Close PermEdit and go back to WPE Pro, on top left, click the little arrow next to target program and find WoW.exe, click that. (if you cant find it your not running wow or it doesnt have permission to target it, if so run wow / use PermEdit)

4. With WoW targeted, double click on Filter 1, a new screen will appear, give the filter a fitting name, like SS > OP or Sweeping Strikes > Overpower.

5. Now the "Challenging Bit", in the screen that popped up, where you renamed the filter, you will see a box up the top labeled with Search and Modify and theres numbers to the right of them.

6. change the 008 and 009 off sets to this

7. After changing the off sets ensure you tick OFF the Recv and RecvFrom functions in the filter screen, there to the bottem left of the filter name, in a combo box.

8. Click apply, filter 1 is now gone and replaced with your custom filter, tick the box next to your filter and then click save so you do not have to remake the filter and then click On the save and On buttons that are located above the filters.

9. Profit!, enjoy your overpower spamming uberness.


Notes: Glyph of Sweeping Strikes is needed to make Sweeping Strikes cost no rage thus making Overpower spammable, ensure you target wow and make sure filter is on.

this macro is not needed, but stops Sweeping Strikes icon placement change to Overpower every zone/relog

also if any other servers where Rend > Overpower is GCD capped, try the above filter and see if that works better!

Lol WPE filters are easy as hell to make, If anything remove the thread because we arnt supposed to make one for every new filter we can come up with thats an easy spell switch

true true, just some servers Rend > Overpower is GCD capped, where as Sweeping Strikes > Overpower aint, thus making it more spammable. plus its a decent guide i think ;p

to get the numbers to put under 008 and 009 is quite easy, firstly go to wowhead and look for a spell, in this case Overpower, in the URL of wowhead you will see the spell ID, which is Overpower - Spell - World of Warcraft - so the spell ID is 7384. now that you have the spell ID, open up calculator and click View then Scientific. enter the number into the Calculator and press the button for Hex, the number will change to a 4 Digit/Letter combination - the Hex number should be 1CD8. you then put the first 2 after the the last Digit/Letter so it would be D81C and thats your number - Hope i helped
