Wired or wireless it doesnt matter as long as you have your ports forwarded and your HOSTS file correct.

Whether you are wired or not, external users computers will connect to your router/computer the same way.

It's not that you are wireless that is your problem, it is your setup that isnt correct.

Possibly consider using WAMP or XAMPP?

EDIT: Are you using linksys? I've recently had this problem (then gave up) where I could get either my site public or my server but neither at the same time

WAMP and XAMPP allow you to php host a website directly from your IP address, in this case you can use your dynamic DNS, give me a minute and I'll provide you with a link

Ok here you go: Download WampServer 2 - Download PHP, apache, MySQL
Download that, install it wherever, open up the folder...then find the folder that says something like www or php
In there replace all the contents with your site contents (the image and index)
    EDIT: then open up config
open up the index in notepad and replace the information as it should be (Mysql user, pass, IP (dyndns)

You May need to get an entirely new site (to put in the www section) (many can be downloaded from mmowned) simply search

If you use comcast for internet they usually block port 80..try forwarding port 90 and then add a :90 to end of URL

Not every port is allowed for websites
Also 90 is closer to 80
