    What's the point of Map extractors ?

    I didn't use a map ext and my server works fine.. hosts well no lag or nothing.

    I've heard it can fix bugs ?
    Is that true ?

    I need a emu experts answer on this.

    If you did a search it would answer your question.

    No, you dont NEED to do it, it lets you discover areas and thats about it.

    Maps do not to be need in game
    it does not effect the Server runs or anything

    BUT it is a good idea to have them

    why?
    because The maps is The maps of nearly every in game
    if you have the maps in our ascent folder you will be able to Discover
    the land and get Experance from them aswell

    Hmm.. okay. I put a folder in WoW folder named "maps" put ad_enGB.exe in it and run it.. nothing happens.
    It says that the patch.mpq and all those big files are in a folder named enGB.
    Yet those files are just in the data folder.

    wtf ?

    are you sure you don't have an enUS client?

    you dont but ad.exe in the folder.
    run it from the wow folder

    Nope, i download enGB patches and the folder in data folder is named enGB.

    Wait.. i was suppose to put it in the WoW folder.
    Not the maps folder in WoW folder :P
