I'm not sure how true that is. The reason why emulators can exist is because nothing about them is illegal. They are not using any of Blizzard's intellectual property, all the code is written themselves or using public libraries and under the GNU license. The emulators merely provide tools coded themselves that would allow you to extract the data required to run the server yourself. That part is illegal - running the program on Blizzard's data.

The database itself (i.e: creatures, players, accounts, all that sort of data) is completely their own data created from the emulator and so likely to be fine. Any DBC/Map data would probably be protected by the copyright.

Not entirely true. Sometimes servers use client files to access world data quicker and much more efficiently than if they pulled it from a database.

The main problem with this petition is that the majority of the people signing are still playing live WoW right now. As much as this sounds like a cool idea at first, it would probably cost Blizzard a lot more money than they'd make out of it, whereas Nostalrius was free-to-play. I doubt the amount of subscriptions they would gain would cover the costs for the additional servers. Also the casual players won't be hardcore enough to deal with the 40-man raiding content, and the hardcore players will be too busy with the new content.

I personally would love it, especially for the classic world PvP and the like.. But I think this is a case of having to move on.

Kronos is Vanilla and Dalaran WoW is a Wrath progression server.

I got still a Instant Disconnected from Server... Maybe someone here could help me?
On their Website it says, that the Server Status is "Online"....

One of these two things usually fixes it for me.

Uncheck readonly in realmlist properties

Make sure theres no http:// in the realmlist url.
