-Blizzard, in similarity to Oogie Boogie's song-
Well well well, what have we here?
Oh, a petition? I'm really scared.
So you're the one everyone's talking about, ha ha
You're joking. You're joking.
I can't believe my ears.
You're joking me, you gotta be
You may as well just quit.
*Suddenly 75k+ signatures, a Jontron video (Only once in a blue moon), a reddit post on the top 10 of r/wow and got onto r/all for a while, along with every gaming journalist talking about the evils of Activision Blizzard*
Well looks like we've made mess, ah shit.
I do stuff, sometimes

Well I mean if you look at Blizzards facebook page for example all you see is people raging. This is Blowing up in Blizzards face way more then they anticipated. I'm wondering if they will make any sort of statement soon. I can't imagine they are happy when they post footage for a new game and all they see is people posting about what *******s they are for shutting down Nostalrius and to put up Legecy servers. I really hope they stop being stubborn and just give the people what they want.

Now, I have just signed the petition - but with a fake name, e-mail and other details.
If I could do that, how many others who have signed the petition have done it - not once but multiple times.

im all for the legacy server's but look at it this way you say it's blowing up in blizzard face. Well people on this server were not paying blizzard anyway so Nothing gained or Lost for blizzard after closing this private server. Also as much as i hate to say it it's their software people took it reveres engineered it for private use free or other. So to a point being upset over this is in it self pointless .But with that said i do hope they open legacy Server's

With the number of signs we have I Doubt that, that is an issue. 85k sigs....I don't think anyone has enough emails and time to sign all day to be a significant chunk of that number.

One person probably not, but don't underestimate a small group of people hell bent on revenge.

Well I mean when you have 150k active players on a server and the petition was made by people who ran that server I think the numbers are realistic. Also check out blizzards page on facebook. You can see for yourself that people are really pissed about it.

But if that were the case wouldn't it be much higher a number? That's a shitty way to run their website. :/

Is there a better website to do a petition on? Not that it matters at this point but rather just out of curiosity.

Now even the BBC is talking about Nostalrius and the petition. Do i recall someone saying it didn't matter and wouldn't even get 10k signatures? lol
I sense legacy servers might not be so improbable after all.
