Populated 4.0.6a server?

It's been a while since I've played and longer since I hit up a private server, and it seems I'm facing the same nightmare as before in finding one. All the old ones I played on, I can't seem to remember their names or they've closed down. So I'm looking for a new one.

I've already got a 4.0.6a client installed, so I might as well use it. What's a good populated 4.0.6a server? I don't much care if it has customs, etc. I'll play Blizzlike, OP customized, pure PVP oriented, etc. If there's a nice twink server, that would be a huge plus. I just don't want a funserver where people go around one-hitting bosses. I want some real fun, and that means (hopefully) plenty of people to play with and a decent community.

Anyone got a recommendation or two?

If not for 4.0.6a, are there any down-patched servers that fit what I want? Large community the biggest plus, and I'd really like a twink realm but it's not a must.

I have been looking around trying to find these myself. The only populated server I have come across is Rebel WoW (Google it). It is PvP oriented, instant 85. A lot of bugs though, but this server seems to actually care about them.
For example they have removed paladin's Word of Glory because it was only using one stack of Holy Power, thus it was spammable and overpowered. The malls seems a little unorganized but for a 4.0.6. client I think this is your best shot.

Otherwise you'll have to download a 3.3.5 WotLK client. A lot more of those are around.

All 4.x servers are currently -very- buggy and more unstable than normal.

Use xtremetop100/server listings/google to find them.
