Easy Way to get Item Display ID's!

Select item and add &xml at end of link!

you will find display id there!

lol... looooooong time ago (the times when sql was not needed to run a wow priv. server)

data bases were contained in .txt files

so all u had to do was search for names in these text files (this applied to npc, skills, accounts)

too bad all this made server so slow... .saveall took like 3~4 seconds

Or you can bring up the souce and just search for display, its in the actual source of the page.

you could just get the website spidey made that gets display ids from your db works like a charm

Or you could just use the digits at the end of the address. I've been doing this for ages now.

No no no, that'll be the item ID, not the display ID

There is a program that has a database of all ID's in the game. Display ID, Item ID, NPC ID's ect. I dont have it on my pc anymore, but i'll try and find it.

That really is 'the' easiest way of getting the ID's.

You mean WoW? DBCs hold item info.

Wowhead just makes it easier to browse and assemble

No, there is a little program that has a database of all the items that you can search through, which is taken straight from the WoW files.

I had it on my pc but i cant find it now =(
