Info About Mike Crowe and the WOTLK repacks

Want to know why we don't like wotlk threads anymore? let's look at these points.

1 - The core is just Mangos. Go to their homepage, not ours.

2 - You can find the sandbox on the website it was made in. Emupedia, mangosproject, openascent. We are not going to help those who are just too damn lazy to search

3 - The fact that 500 threads came up including " Mike Crowe's repack " after we closed his first one, only proves how you guys don't know what the hell you are talking about.

Because of this, we are NOT going to help you with your Wrath of the Lich King repacks. we are NOT going to tell you how to get a core. If you want to talk to mike, SEND HIM A MESSAGE. DONT MAKE ANOTHER THREAD.
Want WOTLK with no bugs and shit working? Make your own core and do the work yourself.

I think wotlk threads would be okey here, because its new like with tbc before, it was the same thing, everybody got desparate, and now with wotlk and northrend, death knight etc i think it would be the same, and arent we accepting MaNGOS threads anymore? :O

I personally enjoyed having, basically, a WotLK sandbox addition to the core.

There were a few starting quests implemented, a few mobs in the areas spawned, and a number of the DK spells were working (which was my biggest reason for getting a WotLK patch/repack, to get a bit of a feel for how the class functions). Yeah, new talents weren't in for most classes, but a good number of them don't function in the Alpha as-is anyway.


On the other hand though, I'll agree with the removal of it from the site, as it was basically MaNGOS with a WotLK .patch run on it, with a few custom additions. Hard to say it since I do like it, but it doesn't fit here. =)

So you're saying MaNGOS isn't allowed here? And no, it's not just MaNGOS. You're talking bullshit. If you would go to there website and make a thread about WotLK the thread would get closed and you would get warned/banned.

And what did you expect when closing the thread? Of course they will make new threads when they can't post in the topic anymore. It was one of the most popular thread ever made in this section with over 60k views.

And if you don't want any WotLK threads, why aren't you removing SectorSeven's thread too?
