How to create a WotLK Server?

So a lot of us have the thing installed now, myself included, and its just sitting there... taunting us...

How would you make a server out of it?

Ive made servers before, the cheap easy noob way however (following repacks).

Couldn't someone just adjust the ascent core or something?...

I don't care about making it public (although it being public would be nice for some friends of mine).

You would have to make new lines in the core to work with the DBC. Which would take about about a month. Plus don't try maybe its the real deal but still....

You can't yet, and it could take many many lines of code in the ascent core

i tried using ascent 4.4 and ofc it dont work, well if i created a Death Knight i got disconnected, and the char didnt get created, if i created anything else like a warrior i came to the login screen, then it all freeze, but if anyone makes ad.exe for WOTLK so it loads lich-king.mpq then we might login

Emu needs opcodes as well as rewritten DBC reading.

and lichking.mpq is in the game when you installed it.

OpenAscent rev 93 zack -- couldn't resist to not try to add 3.0.1 opcodes. After 2 hours of epic copy + paste maraton i realized this is not something to be made by hand The bad part is that a looot of them were recycled and it will be hell to update core when time requires it.
