third-party font support didnt work good,

I found this interesting topic about the font issue. Is it possible to fix this for individuals or we have to wait for blizzard?

Could this be a SUF bug exclusively?

I purged all the addons and WTF and installed a clean version of SuF alone (from your github).
It seems the addon sticks to its default font (Myriad Condensed Web - comes with the addon) and whatever you set in the addon still displays the myriad font at the default size (you can't change that either.)

Edit: to be more precisely, it's not the Myriad font, it's a problem where the addon can't save the set font into the WTF lua for some reason. If I manually overwrite the font type in the WTF lua, it will be good for the first time, then at the next logoff, the addon restores the original font faces.

Some other addons' font selection works properly so it may be a bug in SUF code. Would you please take a look if possible?

I have found this bug since the first day of alpha test but I can't find the buggy code :-(

There's a fresh official SUF beta release can be downloaded from Shadowed Unit Frames - WoW AddOns - WowAce , it seems the font problem is fixed but I'm unable to open SUF menu. Maybe you can find the mentioned buggy code and fix in your release? These official releases come up very-very slowly.

how can we modify lua files like firestorm do on the 6.2.3? It's seems impossible to do since new Battle.net login.

SUF has been merged, I will push it after various tests, maybe tomorrow.

The buggy code was written by myself :-(
I've hardcoded the font settings in .lua files since the first day of Legion.
Customized fonts should work now.

Not all of them, problem seems to be this:

Semlar: it turns out the reason textures aren't working is because it's replacing the extensions with .blp
Semlar: so if you just rename your textures to .blp it'll load them
Semlar: you don't even have to convert them to blp files
