Need Help - Spell Cooldown and Out of Process Targeting

Hey all,

I don't need spoonfed offsets or anything, but I need some direction on next steps.

The things I need some help on are as follows:
(1) How do you get the current cooldown of a spell? How does it relate to the global cooldown? I understand the idea of getting the current in game time, but I can't seem to find a good location for the current spell cooldown by spell ID. I can't seem to find a lua function that does what I need to even start reversing.

(2) What's the best way to set the target from out of process? I get that I'm going to have to write to memory, but It seems like I can't just jam a guid in the slot and have it work. I was hoping to also avoid the set the last target GUID and have a macro button to targetlasttarget.

So it looks like you can write to the last target memory location and use targetlasttarget via a key bind to get the targeting to work, although that corrupts the target history, which I don't really like. Anyone have a more direct way? I'm assuming there's some dirty flag somewhere that will cause wow to re analyze the gui.

Still have no clue how to deal with the spell cd.

The cooldown table contains a copy for the spell that initiated the GCD so you just have to check if it have a valid GCD duration set and this is the one.

But this table is a mess and don't even contains all the spells on cooldown.

It contains ItemId reference for usable items as well as their ItemSpell.

As for shared cooldown, they only contains the spell that you casted and its "category id" then you have to match it with SpellCategories.dbc

The Paladin's Wings (Avenging Wrath) are not into the cooldown table for example, for god knows reason..
