You are right about using the divine protection and gloves. I didn't realise they are not casted on cd, but rather when your health is lower.
I changed the Light's Hammer to:
PHP Code:
local LeftAlt = IsLeftAltKeyDown()
if LeftAlt ~= nil and PQR_SpellAvailable(114158) and GetSpellCooldown(114158) == 0 then
return true
end
It's from the Nudex profile (which is based on your profile
) so credit to him. Speccing into Light's Hammer only makes sense if you use it situationally: Bats on Tortos, Rampage on Magera, nest killing on Ji-kun heroic or balls on Lei Shen. You want to cast it at a specific time to a specific spot. I can't think of a fight where you would use Light's Hammer on cd, maybe except if you are always the gate tank on Horridon.
I changed the code for using Shield of the Righteous to:
PHP Code:
if playerHP >= 75 then
if UnitPower("player", 9) >= 5 then
if UnitPower("player", 9) == 5 or UnitBuffID("player", 114673) == nil or (UnitBuffID("player", 105809) and UnitPower("player", 9) >= 3) or UnitBuffID("player", 90174) then
return true
end
end
It's very crude that way and forces you to either open with a cooldown, use SoR manually at 3 as soon as it's up, or take quite high damage during the opening few seconds before Sacred Shield gets high with vengeance and you climb to 5 HP. Having Holy Avenger or (a bit less) legendary meta gem (which almost always procs at start), will mitigate the spiky damage. Unfortunately I am not even close to being able to rewrite the code properly
Also, spellid 114673 is something called Chicken Jump. I am not sure if it's supposed to be there
The 2 piece tier bonus is shit. You basically never want to use WoG instead of SoR, other than to heal yourself and healing yourself only in dire situations. You can set up Raven or Weak Auras to show you the duration, so that you don't overwrite it, but that's about it. I won't go into detail why, but it's explained nicely here:
Protection Tier 15 Set Bonuses | Sacred Duty
TL;DR, consider the 2 piece as a bonus to casting WoG, not as a reason to cast it.
Speaking of Word of Glory, I would change to cast it below 50%, rather than 75%. My reasoning is that, in progress fights you are quite often below 75% and casting WoG will probably snipe a few heals off your healers. Using holy power for mitigation is better overall, making you take less damage and not making your healers overheal.
Edit:
It was the "Chicken Jump" that made it always cast Shield of the Righteous at 3 holy power, since chances were you were never affected by that spell.
PHP Code:
if playerHP >= 75 then
if UnitPower("player", 9) >= 3 then
if UnitPower("player", 9) == 5 or (UnitBuffID("player", 105809) and UnitPower("player", 9) >= 3) or UnitBuffID("player", 90174) then
return true
end
end
end
Seems to work ok.
Edit 2:
I didn't see that the playerHP includes incoming heals, so maybe I am wrong about the WoG cast conditions. Will see next raid about the overhealing and how it feels.
Edit 3:
Seems just removing "1. Light's Hammer" from the rotation stops the automatic cast and uses the Alt toggle from "- Utility -", so my change wasn't needed
