I tried everything to get the bot working but it just won't cast the fishing.
I assigned the buttons to action bars and hotkeyed them.
I double checked that the keys and the keys on the entered on the bot were exactly the same.
I moved around making profiles if it worked or not.
Did everything possible but the addon won't start only.
It says "casting fishing", "attaching lure", "Found blobber", but nothing is actually happening.
Anything advices and what's going on?
After failing to get Awana To work with this patch I thought id give this a shot,
I fish in WC For deviates
I turned all my settings down apart from the new Spell Details slider (cant remember the name)
Windowed mode (but not maximised)
I changed my splash colour to 0xb7f499 and my Tollerance to 55 and Im currently fishing about 80-90% of the time which isnt bad at all.
I did notice when I tried to get the float colouring the cursor would jump upwards , but the colour worked fine on the red float (its a very greeny/blue cave).I also didnt bother about the addon etc, and just disabled these options.
My final working settings are
Bobber Color: 0x3e1609
Bob. Search Tol.: 20
Bob. Search Step: 2
Splash Color: 0xb7f499
Splash Tolerance: 55
nice ,but I like to go fishing without bots , it's good for concertration
I have tried something else and that works, here is how it goes:
I took a screenshot when the bobber splashed.
I opened Adobe Photoshop and used the Color Picker tool to determine the color of the splash, double click on the color you just selected and you'll see the number of the color.
Paste this number after 0x and the fish will fill your bags again!
On lake Indu'le I have determined the splash color on 63FFFF. So that would be 0x63FFFF and that works perfect for me!
So heres the steps to take to do this.
The best way I have found to make this work 100% of the time is to
1. Cast Fish
2. Screen shot the Splash
3. Get a program that can find the hex color code something like Visual Color Picker 2.6
4. Paste the screen shot into paint
5. Zoom way into the splash and find a color that is unique
6. Using the tool grab the color
7. Put this code into PiroxFishbot
8. Set splash tolerance to a much higher number 50 - 100 (if need be)
The downside is that you are going to have to do this for each new fish spot.
I don't know what you mean by "what originally happened". I was a big fan of flo's bot and his work. The forums for his bot were great, however, pirox used the open source to sell the bot to others afaik (this was not approved by flo).
Correct me if i'm wrong on these accusations with some sort of counter arguement instead of acting like an informed prick.
Flo's site is gone and from what i read he has stopped updating his work.
your not in window mode u are using full screen
Quick question. I spike my bags with the fish I want, so that it can't loot any other because my bags are full. This however causes the old bobber to remain onscreen longer while the game tells me my bags are full. The bot then goes to the old bobber rather then the new one. Can I configure the bot to wait longer before searching for the bobber?
What you can do is to try and set the latency up.
Cant tell you exactly where this is but what you can try is to add like 2000 ms instead of the 100 it is by default.
This will make the bot think there is lag and it will wait a bit more before casting a new bopper. Try setting it higher if you dont think it is high enough.
Hope this will help
Yeah, I figured that option had something to do with it. I've fiddled around with it before, but I guess I didn't put it high enough. Thanks.
i just tried to use pirox, now nothing is working...
it worked fine for me last night?
is anyone else having this problem?
its working for me without problems.
do you use 2.06 of this bot ? If not, just go to the official site and download it.
it still works, running since 3 hours and 99,8% catches
i just downloaded the updated version, and AVG Anti-Virus says the .exe is a Worm.Virus?
Hi MTV, and welcome to my crib!
