5 Tips for Pirox AFK Botting

10 Tips:

1. If in doubt use an earlier version (7.2.3 didnt work for me, i tried 7.2.0, works great)

2. Make a cool Msg for people that whisper you like "Your Message Was Not Received By This Player For You Are Not On That Players Friend List [BugMeNotv2.3] If you wish to contact this player please mail them"

3. Make a new bar for AFK Botting, put your trinket, buffs and maybe an AOE, And maybe a /targetfriend /follow or use that to buff

4. Always have Run on, running around is alot less suspicious and ive only got reported twice over about 40+ games.

5. Always face north when you sign up to a BG over night, you will leave facing north so you can resign up all night, and don't do it for like 2 days i a row, blizzard can tell and ban hammer you

6. Vista users make sure you look at their site for Vista Beta Versions

7. Make sure you have loaded the addon into your interface folder and give it a proper name, i like PwnAid and DPSMeter (also make sure out of date addons are enabled)

8. You could make the bot on a reply to whisper say a command like

/bg Don't let this be a turtle match

Something like that

9. To answer the other guy's question having it on Run All the time can run you far far away from the cave (if your horde). You don't need to recall but best.

10. If your find your addon doesn't work what you should do is make a new addon and DISABLE all previous addons

Having any problems with the 'Ball Won't Appear/Load'?

This is a problem with the addon you should do the following things

1. Make sure the addon is enabled
2. Enable Out Of Date Addons
3. Make a new addon
4. Disable all previous addons (or delete) and make a new addon and enable it

Guide:

Okay, this was originally in the Programs, Bots and Hacks but i moved it since the fact is, I wanted to make a guide because of a heap of people were making mistakes. If you need any help and you've tried this just post here or PM me.

Setup:

Download it from PiroX AFK BG Bot - download
(Pirox Home Page)

You can try the latest version but i found some problems with 7.2.3/7.2.4 so i tried 7.2.0 and it worked just fine, but it's up to you. For vista users look around for Vista versions, like the forums and download section.

After you download Priox Anti-Afk you will be required to change the .exe file and maybe the folder (security reasons). After you download it will show a subname (a name just below it in grey text) [depends on windows version] i like to name it after that, like Speed, Duke, Steam, something like that.

When you start the file will you need to make an addon, so that the balls can show the bot what to do, you will need to make a command to activate it, it would be best for something non-suspicious so that if you accidentally hit space or something you don't say /antiafkbot in guild/say.

Before you set up WoW, just set it up like this



For the Coords you can set that up yourself, they have pictures that make it easy, for the Msgs i suggest some of these ones.

"Your Message Was Not Received By This Player For You Are Not On That Players Friend List [BugMeNotv2.3] If you wish to contact this player please mail them"

"[WhisperGuardian]: Not in friends list - message is ignored."

Or have commands that say stuff in /bg, like "/bg Dont let this be a turtle fest"

After this restart WoW (or if not started start it!) Check your addons folder, disable all previous afk bot addons (if you did this step twice or previous version) and enable out of date addons.

Playing:

Just select a place, BG and faction, click Mode 1. Make sure your facing north (this means that when you leave BG you'll still be facing the BG master) and WoW is in windowed mode (maximized works but i prefer not)

Why Always Run?:

Even with no Trinket with always run on you won't be likely to be reported much, you can run far way from the cave in the time of 1 game. You will even be killed and get killed.

But will people report you?:

I've got about 70K honor so far, and i have only been reported enough to get the debuff around 2 times.

Should I trust the Auto-Login feature? I get d/ced alot and it may pose a problem.

It is not an addon message, but looks like one many whisperers stop continue to spam me when they see the message. Also its wise to use black background for chat box, so bot doesnt make mistakes if purple color is behind chat text.

I have a quick question...

I check the box that says Always run in battleground, or something like that. But once i join the battleground my character just sits in the cave and doesn't run anywhere.

Is there something else i have to do besides check that little box to get him to run?

Most likely it is not detecting that your in a BG, this happens with the later versions of AV, firstly try 7.2.0 if that doesnt work, post it

Nice guide, im going to use this on an alt for getting some marks. Always the worst to get BG marks at lvl 42. I like the not about using a fake whisper guardian message, i had never thought of that and had been using some lame excuses haha. Im sure that alone will decrease your chances.

Alot of ppl are starting to take notice of this bot and report ppl that recall to the base. Atleast on my realm. Do you ppl use the recall or just run around outside the cave?

I'd like to add that it's better to sign from somewhere like Darnassus/Exodar as less people go there and no one will block your line of sight when signing. As for horde I guess Silvermoon or Thunder Bluff though im not horde and don't know how busy they are

for horde UC is probably your best bet because its darker and the BG masters are set apart from the rest of the city

Hey, i tapped the "always run" off this morning.. cause whenever I have it on, and my character start running in AV.. it "moves" the view of the character to the bottom of it.. so I look up into the skies... that way when AV finishes I wont be able to rejoin.. any ideas on what to do?


- I lost alot of honor tapping "always run" disabled.. but atleast i was able to get into more then on AV match :P

What happens if you get reported to many times? i have had the Idle debuff like twice.
