Its not just for Vista, most of the testing was done on Windows XP (32 bit).

Its supposed to, all it does is install some drivers (you only need to do it once).

Like i said above, there is a version for Windows XP as well.
Its next to the Vista version in the download links, I'm surprised no one noticed it.
