    [Collection]Some old Bot sources

    Hi,

i collect some old bot sources, which the creator published after the death of the bot.
My collection isn't complete or did it got all the information about it. If you know which Bot is from which user or for which version of WoW, that would help me a lot.
If you are the creator of one bot in the list and you don't want that your sourcecode is shared anymore. Send me a PN, i will delete it.
thanks to cronos, which gave me the most of my collection.
When you got some sources, feel free to post them. I will update the firstpost asap

i just collect and share them. I did not create one of these bots.

I used only sources, which the creator published, except the Ninjaskid source. A Friend of him shared it with his okay.
When someone dont want to see his bot on this list, he can send me an PN. I will delete it then asap.
Edit: And u dont need to give me rep. the main reason why i post this list is complete selffish, cuz i want to collect even more sources. And i hope someone post some sources too :P

This is actually really cool lol. As a guy with very minimal C# experience it is nice to see some real world examples. Autoit on the other hand I am quite comfortable with now and I am surprised to see that someone made a full 1-80 lvling bot out of the code. That must've been such a headache! lol +5 rep

No, but you can compile the source for yourself.

    OK!!

Some research yielded this guide written by someone named 0.7 on a different website.

Ok, I am writing this to save some people some trouble. All of this information can be found in various posts throughout this website, and the WoW!Sharp website, but I am putting everything into one post.

    The first things you need:
    ----------------------------
    .NET 1.1 Framework
Explorer AddIn (Click the first link called Download on the right. You will need to restart your computer after this.)
    ----------------------------
    Create a new folder
    ----------------------------
Once you have those two downloaded and installed, it's time to create a new folder. You should create a new folder inside of other folders, to make it more difficult for Blizzard to find it if they decide to. Do NOT make it in your WoW directory.

When you have your new folder, right click inside of it and you should see an option for SVN Checkout. Click this.

You will get a new box that comes up. In the URL of repository, paste this:
    svn://www.wowsharp.net/WoWBot

The checkout directory should already be filled out for you. Press ok.
    ----------------------------
    Copy the path
    ----------------------------
You should see a few folders where you downloaded the files to. One of them is named 'trunk'. Go inside of it.

Now, copy the full path to the 'trunk' folder via your address bar. You can find the path here:

Once you have done that, it is time to compile the bot so you will have a WoW!Bot.exe in your trunk folder.
    ----------------------------
    Compile the bot
    ----------------------------
With the full path still in your clipboard, go to:

    Start > Run > cmd

Type in chdir and then right click and paste the path. When you are done, press enter. For example:

Now, copy and paste this, then press enter:

    c:\windows\microsoft.net\framework\v1.1.4322\csc /target:winexe /out:WoW!Bot.exe /reference:wow!sharp.dll *.cs

You should get some errors saying functions aren't used, or something like that, disregard them. Close the cmd prompt, and go into your 'trunk' folder. You should now have a WoW!Bot.exe. Open it up!
    ----------------------------
    General Setup
    ----------------------------
Create a new profile. It does not matter what you name it. The username and password, just leave alone. Eventually, this bot will require payment for use, so this is a general login/pass that works for the free version.

Select your class, and hit apply.

Now, if you haven't already, start WoW and login. Minimize back to WoW!Bot and press the Initialize button. It is now time to setup your paths.
    ----------------------------
    Attack/Graveyard Setup
    ----------------------------
When you get to the area you want to bot at, move your character to the exact spot you want to start.

Go in the Patrol Areas Tab, and create a new name for your first area, call it anything.

Press Auto-Add. Then, start walking around where you want your bot to follow. It will automatically start adding waypoints that your bot will follow. Try to make a realistic pattern, don't just go in a straight line back and forth, make it loop around, etc. After you are done with your loop, move your character back to your starting location and press Auto-Add again.

Then, go to Travel Paths Tab, and create a new name for your first area, call it anything.

Move your character to the nearest graveyard, go in the center of it, then press Auto-Add. Then, move your character to the starting location you setup in the Patrol Areas. This moves your character from the graveyard to your botting spot when you die.

*NOTE* It is very important to end your botting path in the general area you started. Why you may ask? Well, if you don't, at the end of your bot's loop, it will go from the ending waypoint to the starting one, in a direct line. This is a problem if there is any kind of geometry in the way. Your toon will get stuck and if you aren't watching it, could result in the arise of suspicion.

    ----------------------------

The rest you should be able to get on your own. They are class settings, rest percentages, distances, looting, etc. One thing to keep in mind is that all of the numbers are percentages, not set values. That messed me up at first.

I hope this helps some of you that have been having trouble. Did I miss anything? Feel free to point it out and I'll be sure to add it.
This post is from 2005 hah so good luck.

I got the Source from Torgatta at a german Forum. Maybe he stoled it, but i can't find any proof of it.

    Edit:// It's VanillaBot, not VanillaBotter.

You got it compiled? Near as I can tell you'll have to edit it and delete those entries. They were pretty obvious when i was looking through it but I am inexperienced in the nuances of just hacking out a piece of code.
