    Crossover Games [Linux] [Lame Duck]

    searched and didn't find anything download: RapidShare: Easy Filehosting mirror: Filebeam - Free Fast File Hosting to run the installer put it in your home folder and type this in your terminal

    Is this the tiral or the full version of Crossover Games?
    Also, if it is the full version it would be warez and they are not allowed here.

    wine ftw... but I can't get wow workign on my linux machine becasue I'm having issues installing the driver... but that second way of runnign the installer looks promising, if it works for my driver i'll +rep you... lulz

    the only thing that sucks about using crossover is that you need the cd's in order to install it

    Wine from the current GIT repository (i.e., the current, development one) is capable of running WoW with both OpenGL and DirectX, although DirectX is slower and does give me some graphical glitches (mostly one addon that for some strange reason misplaces his texture and the dynamic shadows that doesn't work).
    I believe stock wine works out of the box also, but I haven't tried it in a long time.

    Edit: just to clarify, it runs with Wine's built in Direct3D, I haven't tried installing the windows one (didn't seen worth the hassle).
