[Guide] Fix for crash to desktop error in swtor.

Now im not saying this is a fix for all crash bugs but this one fixed my problem.

The crash i was getting was the swtor client closing with no error at all and i tried so many things before i found a fix i almost gave up but anyway.

ok so here is what i did to fix my crashes

1. make sure swtor is closed
2. goto swtor folder
3. delete the "retailclient" folder
4. open the launcher
5. press the cog button and hit repair.
6. wait for launcher to re-download and repair the install
7. enjoy playing crash free swtor.

The retailclient folder is only around a 50 meg to replace so its not a huge download so it shouldnt take long to do.

Didn't work, it crashes for me whenever I use the untzbot free version.. randomly, it sometimes does 1 mission, it sometimes does 17 missions, but it always crashes

the game keeps crashing, the bot has never crashed, although when i do not have the bot on, the game seems okay, but i cannot tell you just yet, i need to play to see, will update.

same here if i have luckys spacebot running the game crashes also what seems to be at random, 100 missions done or 3...

Been playing for hours now and I still haven't crashed, it's the bot that causes it :/

The bot causes the crash. I think when you do the same thing over and over, you get marked and it may shut down on you. It most likely has to do with the fact that they know what you are doing. Cause you push the same buttons in the same time sequence. That's just my thought.

i dont think so my game was shutting down for no reason with no error and since i did what is mentioned in the original post mine hasnt crashed once u did over 350 runs in a row the other day with no problems

I usually only do about 7 on average and it shuts down.

ran the fix on 2 rigs with no crash in 200+ missions third rig i hadnt run the fix and has crashed twice in that time

It seems like it doesn't crash if I put all the settings to low, put it on 800x600 and then restart the game itself and then load the bot. Hm.. have yet to crash since yesterday.

it may be that your CPU can't handle swtor + the bot.......
