[Guide][Info] What emu and database to choose

I know most people here use ascent + a version of NCDB with a few custom things in there, but I wanted to post this (informative) guide about emus and stuff...

    History:

    Ascent:
    - Started out as wowd
    - Emulator specified for WoW
    - Many people break / broke their affero license (Meaning you have to give your source code if you have a public server) :|
    - Most widely used emulator to play WoW(They get 4,000-8,000 people joining project every month, baised on forums and servers)
    - A very good database team, NCDB
    - Can hold around 4,000-5,000 players before laggs and crashes

    MaNGOS
    - Is an informative mmo project, not specified for one client
    - Wowd derivative
    - A very good database team, UDB
    - Been around a very long time
    - Not so widely used (They get about 3,000 - 7,000 people joining project every month, based on forums and servers)
    - Can hold maximum of 1,000 players before laggs and crashes

    Ludmilla:
    - Wowd derivative
    - Closed source
    - Holds many players
    - Commonly used in russian servers (by common I mean there are like 90% of places there, I only know of like 6 servers :| 1 of them is in the US)
    - Gets around 50 people joining a month based on forums, and 3 or 4 major servers
    - Uses up over 8 gigs of memory in maps and 4-5 gigs of ram to run!
    - Wait 1 or 2 months after patch for them to update

    Databases:

    Ascent:
    - Two big databases are NCDB, and Project Silvermoon
    - Constantly updated every day
    - Soooo many things get created out of those places

    MaNGOS:
    - Two big databases are UDB, and Project Silvermoon
    - Constantly updated daily
    - Very close to bugless in some aspects

    Ludmilla:
    - Only one database, from the creator
    - Never updated almost
    - Used to be good, now sucks

Eh, thats about all I can think of right now about those 3 things. Maby updated if anyone takes interest in this.
