Steam server list shuts down my internet

Basically what the title says =\ whenever I try to find a CSS or any other steam related game server my whole internet connection just stops and I have to go and reset the router, I'm running off wireless if that helps but it's only just started happening recently, I have no idea what is causing this and I can't find anyone else with the same problem. It'll find like 1 or 2 servers then say "Could not connect to master game server" and I won't be able to use my internet for anything until I reset the router because it just says "Problem loading page" etc, but my internet still appears connected although the repair tool doesn't do crap.

Mine does exact same thing but I figured it out, just double click Steam on your desktop, it should open your account thing for Steam and should say what games they are selling. Well on the bottom of Steam program thingy click Servers, click Internet and change the filters to Counter-Strike Source for the game and whatever settings you want. Hope this helps you!
