[GUIDE] how to change the ip of your server

[InternetExplorer]

go to Find My IP Address - Lookup and copy your ip
and now go to your repack and open the file called realmlist.conf whit notepad, then go down
and u will find:


<LogonServer Address = "127.0.0.1"
Port = "8093"
Name = "Default Logon"
RealmCount = "1">
change that to:


<LogonServer Address = "your ip"
Port = "8093"
Name = "Default Logon"
RealmCount = "1">
then go down again
and u will find:


<Realm1 Name = "Test Realm"
Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
Icon = "PVP"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">
change that to:



<Realm1 Name = "Realm name"
Address = "Your ip:8129"
Icon = "PVP"
Colour = "1"
Population = "1.0"
TimeZone = "1">

and so save and close that...

now u need to open logonserver.conf ...

then u need to find:



Host Directive

# This is the address that the realmlist will listen on.
# To listen on all addresses, set it to 0.0.0.0
# Default: 127.0.01 (localhost)
#
# Note: ISHost is the interserver communication listener.


change that to:



Host Directive

# This is the address that the realmlist will listen on.
# To listen on all addresses, set it to 0.0.0.0
# Default: your ip (localhost)

# Note: ISHost is the interserver communication listener
.


then close and save this...



now u need to open ascent.conf


and now u need to find:



Host
# This is the address that the server will listen on.
# To listen on all addresses, set it to 0.0.0.0
# Default: 127.0.0.1 (localhost)

change that to:




Host
# This is the address that the server will listen on.
# To listen on all addresses, set it to 0.0.0.0
# Default: your ip (localhost)

then go down and find:


Q
ServerIP
# This is the IP of the voice chat server.
# Default: "127.0.0.1"
#
# ServerPort
# This is the TCP port of the voice chat server.
# Default: "3727"
#

change that to

now go to your wow folder and open realmlist and set it to *set realmlist your ip*

but i changed the name on my server so (not the IP) that was 1 thing so +Rep
