No emu works for me!

Hey, I've decided to host an private server to play with some of my friends, to improve our playing skills in PVE.

So, I've been trying repack after repack. None of them work.

First I tryed some Acent re-packs. Easy to config and start, but then I had the problem. I was able to play for about 20sec, and then I got DC'd and was unable to play on the character since I get a DC everytime I sign in, and none of my friends was able to play either. Same problem for them with ALL repacks I had with acents.

So I tryed MANGOS which I like the most, since it was the first emu I had. Set it up as the guide told me, but none of the .exe's could connect to localhost. I tryed multiple different things, but it was 100% unable to connect to localhost, and yes, MySQL was on, and the config files had the passwords, but it was still unable to make them connect.

And also I need emu's for the 2.3.x patch, but NOTHING works.

Anyone who have had these problems and solved it?

1st. Maybe there was a Mysql already included checked that? 2nd. You do realise that the instances on private servers isnt as live WoW, this has got lots o more bugs.

can you post your Ascent.exe and Logonserver.exe? That might help out people to find out your problem

There was no MySQL included, so that's not a problem.. And I know that it's a lot more bugs, but it's enough to improve our PVE skills..

can you post your Ascent.exe and Logonserver.exe? That might help out people to find out your problem
